Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the information provided in the comment form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser data. This is done to help detect spam.

An anonymized string generated from your email address (called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of the comment.

Media
If you upload images to the site, avoid sending files that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract this data from the published images.

Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you may choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience, so you do not have to fill in your details again when leaving another comment. These cookies will be stored for one year.

If you visit the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal information and will be deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we set cookies to store your login information and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, while screen options cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal information and only records the ID of the edited post. It expires after one day.

Embedded Content from Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images, and articles. Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you visited the original website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged into that website.

Who We Share Your Data With
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the password recovery email.

How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve future comments automatically instead of holding them for moderation.

For users who register on our site, we also store the personal information provided in their profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except for their username, which cannot be changed. Site administrators can also access and modify this information.

Your Rights Over Your Data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including information you have provided voluntarily.

You can also request the deletion of your personal data. However, this does not include data we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where Your Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
